HOW TO SEND EMAIL (NEW MAIL MESSAGE)
1. Click on the Outlook Express Icon to open email program.
If your program options are set to open to INBOX, then proceed to Step 2.
If not, on the Outlook Express page, click on "Read Mail" and this will
take you to the Inbox.
You can set your email program to open in the
Inbox automatically by clicking on Tools, options, and put a checkmark by
"When starting go directly to my inbox folder", click apply, and OK. From
now on your email program will open to your Inbox.
2. New Message:
You click on "new mail" (at the top below file).
Address email by clicking on the To: (this takes you to the address book)
and click on the name (or names), and then "to" and that will move the name over
to the right-side box (you may also double-click on the names and that will do
the same). Then click "OK" at the bottom. Click or tab to the Subject, type in a
subject. Then click Tab one more time to go to the body of the letter, and type
letter.
3. After you've typed the letter, click send in the upper left corner.
If you're off-line (disconnected) it should reconnect your modem and send
your email, or it will give you a message that it will place your email in the
outbox to send when you do connect.

BLIND
CARBON COPY: BCC
You may send any email to people and not advertise their email
addresses by using the BCC method. Many people are using this
method to insure privacy for all their email friends.
1.
If you'd like to send any email BCC, that is, blind
carbon copy, here are the instructions:
a. When you address your email
from the address book (I'm assuming you have entered your email addresses in the
address book) on any email (reply forward, or new mail), and you click on the
"To:" or Recipients to go to the addresses, click one time on the person or
persons' name, and then click on the BCC button in there (you have To, CC,
BCC) , and then OK.
b. Names will show to you on the
BCC line, but when it goes out, it will be invisible to everyone else. You
can check in your sent items after you send it, and it will be invisible, and
sometimes it inserts the "Undisclosed tag" in the "to" bar. That's it.
